Is it better to have backlink from a footer or from a landing page body?

Which is more valuable: a backlink from a footer or one from the main body of a landing page? I have a chance to secure a backlink from one of our suppliers. I can either have a straightforward link to our service featured on their landing page or a smaller link in their footer, which would create a backlink on every page of their website.

Is there a significant difference between the two options, or does it not make much of a difference?
