[Showoff Saturday] Full-stack insurance app – Vue 3 + Tailwind + Django REST

Showcase of the Week: A Comprehensive Full-Stack Insurance Application Built with Modern Technologies

In this post, I am excited to share a personal project I developed entirely on my own: a full-featured insurance application with both front-end and back-end components fully operational.

Technology Stack:
Frontend: Vue 3 combined with Tailwind CSS for a sleek, responsive user interface.
Backend: Django framework complemented by Django REST Framework to serve and manage data efficiently.
API Security: The API endpoints are secured behind authentication measures and are reverse-proxied at the /api route.
Deployment: The application is fully containerized, ensuring portability and security, and is live at wydstepbro.com. Interestingly, I acquired the domain during testing for a bit of fun!

Development Insights:
– Estimated development time so far: approximately 120 hours.
– Total projected effort: around 300 hours, as I continue to expand the client-facing pages and features.

You can explore the project repository here: Aura Insurance Engine.

I welcome feedback on the architecture, user experience during development, or any potential improvements. Your insights are valuable as I continue refining this full-stack project.
