Exciting Progress: Launching a New Open Source Marketplace with Core Dashboard Features
I’m pleased to share some recent developments on my latest projectโan open source marketplace designed to support artists and creators. The journey began with the idea of establishing a dedicated platform for art sales and artist exposure. Traditionally, I work with Astro for frontend development; however, this project has evolved into a comprehensive marketplace thanks to the integration of a headless content management system (CMS).
Over the past week, I focused on refining the platformโs core functionalities. Thanks to some bug fixes, users can now securely log in, create their own storefronts, and easily manage their content. The foundation is now robust, setting the stage for further enhancements and feature additions.
Tech stack highlights include Strapi for the backend CMS, combined with Mantine and Tailwind CSS to ensure a sleek, responsive, and user-friendly interface. These tools have been instrumental in accelerating development while maintaining a professional aesthetic.
Stay tuned as I continue to develop this open source project, aiming to create a versatile and accessible marketplace ecosystem for artists and entrepreneurs alike.
