yWhois — RDAP-Based IP, Domain, and ASN Lookup Tool (Updated Version 23)

Introducing yWhois: An Enhanced Tool for IP, Domain, and ASN Lookup via RDAP

In the evolving landscape of domain and network management, having reliable and modern lookup tools is essential. Recently, I revisited my project yWhois—a comprehensive platform for performing IP, domain, and ASN lookups using RDAP (Registration Data Access Protocol). Since its initial launch last year, I’ve implemented several improvements to enhance performance and reliability.

One challenge I faced was encountering rate-limiting issues when the site experienced high traffic. To address this, I integrated multiple worker servers, which has significantly alleviated the problem and ensures smoother user experiences even during peak times.

It’s somewhat perplexing that a registrar’s RDAP server would impose such strict API usage restrictions, considering RDAP is intended to modernize and replace traditional WHOIS protocols for more transparency and efficiency. Nonetheless, I remain optimistic about future updates and improvements.

For those interested in advanced IP, domain, and ASN lookups with a focus on modern standards, visit yWhois at https://ywhois.com/. Stay tuned for further enhancements as I continue refining this tool to better serve the community’s needs.
