Introducing a Free and Ad-Free Scrum Poker Tool for Agile Teams

In the spirit of improving team collaboration tools, I recently developed a straightforward Scrum Poker application. Unlike many existing options that are cluttered with ads, come with restrictive limitations, or require paid subscriptions, this tool aims to offer a simple, accessible alternative for Agile teams.

This lightweight web app allows team members to participate via guest login, facilitating seamless voting on story points during sprint planning. Designed with usability and unobtrusiveness in mind, it provides a clean experience without the distractions of advertisements.

While my team previously used another Scrum Poker platform, its intrusive ads and inconsistent ad blocker compatibility, especially on restricted browsers like Brave, hindered our workflow. This inspired me to create a more reliable, cost-free solution.

My goal is to develop niche tools that serve practical needs without adding to the subscription overload most of us face online. Building this application also gave me the opportunity to explore advanced technologies like Mercure, deepening my understanding of real-time protocols.
