Introducing a Clean, Ad-Free Scrum Poker Tool for Agile Teams

In the world of agile project management, efficient planning and collaboration are essential. Recognizing some of the limitations with existing tools—such as intrusive advertisements, usage restrictions, and paid features—I decided to develop a straightforward, accessible Scrum Poker application tailored to meet the needs of dynamic teams.

This lightweight tool allows team members to log in as guests and cast their votes on story points for various user stories. It’s designed to be simple, functional, and free of disruptive ads, making it a reliable option for teams working within restrictive browser environments or those seeking a clutter-free experience.

My motivation stemmed from experience with different Scrum Poker apps that, while feature-rich, often come with annoyances like advertisements or limited accessibility. By creating this solution, I aim to promote frictionless collaboration without the hassle of subscriptions or intrusive ads—at least for essential functionalities.

Throughout the development process, I also delved into integrating Mercure, enhancing my understanding of real-time protocols, which was a rewarding technical challenge.
