Title: Enhancing IP and Domain Lookup with yWhois: A Robust RDAP-Based Solution

In the evolving landscape of internet infrastructure, accurate and efficient domain and IP address information retrieval remains essential. Recently, I revisited and improved my yWhois project—a comprehensive tool for IP, domain, ASN, and RDAP lookups.

Since its initial launch, I’ve addressed some significant challenges. One notable issue was encountering rate-limiting constraints during peak usage, which hindered the user experience. To overcome this, I integrated multiple worker servers, effectively distributing the load and ensuring smoother, uninterrupted access.

It’s worth noting that many registrar RDAP servers still impose surprisingly low API usage caps for what should be a universally accessible, modern replacement for traditional WHOIS queries. While these limitations can be frustrating, I remain committed to refining yWhois to provide reliable, high-performance lookups.
