Launching a New Open Source Marketplace Platform: Core Features Now Live

I’m excited to share the progress on a project close to my heartโ€”the development of a versatile, open-source marketplace platform. Originally envisioned as a simple store and blog for selling artwork, this initiative has evolved into a robust marketplace solution.

Utilizing my preferred framework, Astro, I set out to create a headless Content Management System (CMS). Over time, what began as a basic setup has grown into a comprehensive platform capable of managing multiple vendor sites and dynamic content.

This week, I focused on refining the core functionalities. I’m pleased to report that essential features are now fully operational: users can log in, create their individual storefronts, and edit content seamlessly. The platform is built with modern development tools, leveraging Strapi for backend management, alongside Mantine and Tailwind CSS to ensure a sleek, responsive user interface.

Looking ahead, I plan to continue enhancing this open-source project, adding new features and improving usability. Stay tuned for updates as this marketplace platform evolves toward its full potential.
