Implementing a Robust Document Upload Solution

One of the recent milestones in the development of BuildFlow has been the creation of a comprehensive document upload feature. This system enables users to seamlessly submit essential files such as architectural plans, contractual documents, and reports. The design emphasizes simplicity and speed, ensuring that team members can quickly share and access critical information without unnecessary complexity.

Built with Modern Technologies

For the development of this feature, I employed Laravel 12 coupled with React through Inertia.js, providing a smooth and reactive user experience. Currently, files are stored locally on the server, facilitating quick access and management during initial stages.

Focusing on Real Challenges

My goal with BuildFlow is to streamline workflows and mitigate common frustrations faced by small construction teams—such as chaotic WhatsApp communications, scattered PDFs, and inadequate version control.
