My appreciation for effective marketing is complemented by a deep respect for creative art direction, even though I personally dislike traditional advertisements. I often employ tools like YouTube Premium, ad blockers, and incognito browsing to avoid ads, which makes encountering unconventional marketing tactics all the more intriguing.

Recently, during a casual outing in Chinatown, I found myself enjoying lunch and a few beers with a friend before heading into Manhattan. At some point, I opened a fortune cookieโ€”a classic Chinese restaurant traditionโ€”and was surprised to find an advertisement embedded inside. I must note that the ad is NSFW, so viewer discretion is advised.

What caught my attention was not just the novelty of finding an ad in a fortune cookie, but also the content itself.
