Artificial intelligence (AI) refers to the simulation of human intelligence in machines and computer systems programmed to perform tasks that typically require human cognitive functions. This includes processes such as learning (the ability to improve performance based on previous experiences), reasoning (the capability to draw conclusions or make decisions based on available information), and self-correction. AI can be classified into two main categories: narrow AI, which is designed for specific tasks such as voice recognition or image processing, and general AI, which aims to possess the ability to understand, learn, and apply knowledge across a wide variety of tasks, much like a human. AI technologies utilize techniques from machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and other methodologies to analyze data, recognize patterns, and make autonomous decisions, increasingly being integrated into various sectors like healthcare, finance, transportation, and entertainment.
