Assistance Needed: As a Backend Developer Who Created a Blog, Here’s My CSS Request (Variation 8)

From Backend Developer to Blogger: Building a Personal Website with WordPress – Requesting CSS Tips

As a seasoned backend engineer specializing in .NET systems, I spend most of my time working behind the scenes on complex infrastructures that remain invisible to end-users. Stepping into the realm of public-facing development was an entirely new experience—especially since I aimed to keep things clean, efficient, and easy to manage.

My goal was to create a straightforward platform where I could share insights, thoughts, and showcase some of the reusable libraries I’ve developed. While I initially explored static site generators like 11ty for their speed and lightweight nature, I ultimately decided that a more familiar and flexible approach—such as WordPress—would suit my needs better.

Throughout this journey, I’ve gained valuable insights into front-end design, site optimization, and user experience. It’s been a refreshing departure from the typical challenges I encounter in backend work, such as memory management, concurrency issues, and performance tuning.

Today, I’m excited to unveil my personal blog: ByteAether Blog. I’ve also included some Lighthouse benchmark results to showcase its performance.

If you’re experienced with WordPress and have tips on customizing styles, especially CSS enhancements to give the site a unique look, I’d love to hear your recommendations. Your insights will help me refine the visual appeal and user engagement of my platform.

Thanks for taking a look, and I look forward to any suggestions or ideas you might have!
