Developing an open-source marketplace: Basic dashboard features now implemented (Variation 20)

Developing a Cutting-Edge Open Source Marketplace: Initial Features Now Live

Embarking on an exciting journey to establish a new digital platform, I set out to create a space dedicated to showcasing and selling art. Initially motivated by the desire to launch a simple blog or online store, my approach involved leveraging modern web technologies.

Starting with a headless Content Management System (CMS), my project gradually evolved into a fully functional marketplace. Over the past week, I’ve addressed several initial challenges, implementing core features that lay the foundation for a seamless user experience.

Currently, users can now log in securely, create individual storefronts, and manage their content with ease. The development stack includes powerful tools such as Strapi for backend management, Mantine for user interface components, and Tailwind CSS for responsive design and styling.

This milestone marks a significant step toward delivering a versatile, open-source platform that empowers artists and creators to showcase their work effectively. Stay tuned as I continue to enhance the platform’s capabilities and introduce new features!
