Launching the Foundations of an Open Source Marketplace: Core Features Implemented
Exciting progress has been made on my latest project โ an innovative marketplace platform designed to support artists and creators. Originally envisioned as a personal blog and art store, this endeavor has evolved into a comprehensive digital marketplace, thanks to the power of headless CMS architecture.
Leveraging modern tools like Astro for frontend development, I embarked on building a flexible backend using Strapi โ an open source headless CMS. Over the past week, Iโve focused on refining key functionalities, ensuring a seamless user experience. Currently, users can log in securely, create and customize their own storefronts, and manage content effortlessly.
The projectโs interface seamlessly integrates UI components from Mantine and styling through Tailwind CSS, resulting in a clean, responsive design that prioritizes usability and aesthetic appeal. This ongoing development marks a significant step towards establishing a versatile, community-driven marketplace platform thatโs built with open source technologies.
Stay tuned for further updates as I continue to enhance features and expand the platformโs capabilities!
