How can we define artificial intelligence (AI)?

Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to the simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, particularly computer systems. These processes include learning (the acquisition of information and rules for using it), reasoning (the ability to draw conclusions from the information), and self-correction. AI systems can be categorized into narrow AI, which is designed to perform a specific task (such as virtual assistants like Siri or Alexa), and general AI, which possesses the capability to understand, learn, and apply intelligence across a wide range of tasks at a level comparable to a human being. AI employs various techniques, including Machine Learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and robotics, to analyze data, recognize patterns, and make decisions. Its applications span numerous fields, including healthcare, finance, transportation, and entertainment, transforming how we interact with technology and leading to significant advancements in automation and efficiency.
