Celebrating Creativity: Introducing Phrasicle – A New Word Chain Game Inspired by Classic Phrases

We’re excited to showcase a personal project close to our hearts: a web-based word game developed by my wife, now live at phrasicle.com. After dedicating several years to caring for our three young children, she decided to channel her creativity into game development, and the results are truly impressive.

About the Game

Phrasicle offers players a unique challenge: decipher popular sayings or idioms—collectively known as “Phrasicles”—by revealing individual words within a dynamic grid. The gameplay revolves around forming word chains reminiscent of popular puzzle games like Chain Reaction. Each successful connection peels back layers of the phrase, offering a satisfying puzzle-solving experience.

A Personal Milestone

As someone incredibly proud of my wife’s dedication and ingenuity, I wanted to share her first foray into web game development. While she isn’t an active Reddit user, she’s been eager to share her creation with a broader audience and gather feedback.
