Introducing Griply: The All-in-One Goal and Habit Management Platform (Now with Calendar Integration)
Are you tired of juggling multiple productivity tools that don’t seamlessly connect? Managing goals, habits, and daily tasks can become overwhelming, especially when your tools lack integration. That was the motivation behind creating Griply—a comprehensive platform designed to unify all aspects of personal productivity into a single, intuitive interface.
The Inspiration Behind Griply
Like many busy individuals, I found myself relying on various apps to track my goals, monitor habits, and plan daily activities. Unfortunately, these tools often operated in isolation, making long-term planning cumbersome and disconnected. I envisioned a solution that could support the entire process—from setting ambitious objectives to breaking them down into actionable steps, maintaining consistent habits, and scheduling everything effectively on a calendar.
After a year of dedicated development, working alongside a passionate team of friends, we launched Griply—a dynamic system that transforms how you approach personal growth and productivity.
What Make Griply Unique
- Goal Breakdown: Decompose large aspirations into measurable subgoals, habits, and daily tasks.
- Track Progress: Visualize your progress with clear stats and insightful charts.
- Long-Term Planning: Create a strategic roadmap with timeline views spanning years.
- Integrated Habits and Goals: Connect daily habits and tasks to your broader objectives, ensuring continuous progress.

We prioritize speed and responsiveness, with each new feature driven by user feedback, ensuring Griply evolves to meet real needs.
Behind the Scenes: Building Griply
The development journey involved creating both web and desktop versions from scratch, with a robust backend powered by Firebase. Initially, I used Material-UI for rapid UI prototyping; however, extensive customization led us to develop much of the interface manually for a better fit.
Technology stack highlights:
- Frontend:
- React-based Single Page Application (SPA) and Progressive Web App (PWA) to support web, desktop, and Android platforms seamlessly
- Built with Vite, using TypeScript for maintainability
- UI components include FullCalendar for scheduling, React DnD for drag-and-drop features, and MUI for
