Introducing a Free, Ad-Free Scrum Poker Application for Agile Teams

In the world of agile project management, team collaboration tools are essentialโ€”but they shouldn’t come with intrusive ads, restrictions, or costly subscriptions. Recognizing these challenges, I developed a straightforward Scrum Poker app designed to facilitate seamless estimation sessions without unnecessary distractions.

This lightweight tool allows team members to quickly join as guests and cast votes on story points for various user stories. Unlike many existing options that bombard users with ads or impose limitations, my implementation offers an uncluttered experience, supporting flexible browser useโ€”no need to switch to alternative browsers like Brave or grapple with unreliable ad blockers.

My goal is to craft practical, niche applications that help reduce the hassle of internet subscriptions, at least for basic workflows. Developing this app also provided valuable insights into real-time communication protocolsโ€”specifically, I gained a better understanding of Mercure while building it.
