Introducing a Clean, Ad-Free Scrum Poker Tool Designed for Agile Teams

In the world of Agile project management, team collaboration tools are essential—but many available options come with their drawbacks. Frequent ads, restrictions, or cost barriers can disrupt the flow and focus of your sprint planning sessions. To address these issues, I developed a straightforward Scrum Poker application tailored for teams seeking a seamless, distraction-free experience.

This lightweight tool allows team members to participate anonymously and cast their story point votes on user stories effortlessly. Unlike some of the popular alternatives, this app is free to use, with no intrusive advertisements or limitations, making it ideal for teams working within restricted browser environments or those who prefer a clutter-free interface.

My motivation was inspired by the tools my team has used in the past. While effective, they often relied on ad-supported platforms that sometimes hindered productivity—especially when ad blockers failed or browser restrictions prevented access. With this project, I aim to provide a more focused and accessible solution that prioritizes user experience without unnecessary distractions.

Beyond the practical benefits, building this application offered me a valuable opportunity to deepen my understanding of the Mercure protocol, which I incorporated into the project. It’s rewarding to create something that not only solves a real problem but also enhances my technical skills.
