Introducing a Clean and Free Scrum Poker Tool for Agile Teams

In the world of agile project management, efficient planning and estimation are crucial. However, many existing scrum poker applications come with limitations—be it intrusive advertisements, restricted access, or costs—hindering seamless collaboration. To address this, I’ve developed a straightforward, ad-free Scrum Poker web app designed for teams seeking a distraction-free experience.

This lightweight tool allows team members to log in as guests and privately cast votes on story points for user stories, streamlining your sprint planning sessions. Our team previously used a popular alternative, but its abundant ads, inconsistent ad blockers, and browser restrictions (especially on browsers like Brave) made it less than ideal. That frustration inspired me to create a more user-friendly, unrestricted alternative.

My goal is to develop niche tools that enhance productivity while minimizing subscription headaches—delivering simple yet effective solutions for everyday challenges. This project also offered me a valuable opportunity to work with Mercure, a real-time communication protocol, helping me deepen my understanding of its capabilities.
