Is anyone receiving views on Quora?

Has anyone else noticed a drop in views on Quora?

Hello everyone,

Iโ€™ve been active on Quora since 2019, and I used to see thousands of views on my answers. However, over the past two years, my view count has plummeted, and many of my responses have been deleted. I’m well aware of Quora’s guidelinesโ€”no promotion, no spam, just high-quality answers.

Is anyone else experiencing similar issues?

If Quora seems to be losing its effectiveness, are there any other Q&A platforms where bloggers can drive traffic?

  1. Hi there!

I can definitely relate to your experience on Quora. Many users have noticed changes in visibility over the years, and it can be frustrating when well-crafted answers don’t get the attention they once did. The tightening of policies and moderation might play a significant role in your views and the status of your answers.

You’re not alone in facing these challengesโ€”many users are sharing similar concerns. It seems that the competition has increased, and the algorithm might favor different types of content or newer contributors.

If you’re looking for alternatives, there are several other Q&A platforms where you might generate traffic, such as:

    1. Reddit – Various subreddits can drive significant traffic if you engage genuinely with the community.
    2. Stack Exchange – Great for niche topics, especially in technical or professional fields.
    3. Yahoo Answers (though it has shut down, alternatives like Quora Spaces serve a similar community-driven purpose).
    4. Ask.fm – While not as popular, it offers a social element to Q&A.
    5. Medium – You can publish thoughtful answers to questions as articles and potentially reach a broader audience.

Additionally, consider utilizing social media platforms to share your expertise and drive traffic to your blog. Engaging content on Twitter, Instagram, or LinkedIn can also build your audience.

Have you explored any other platforms yet? Would love to hear your thoughts!

  2. It’s great to see this topic being discussed, as many users have been feeling the impact of Quora’s recent changes. In addition to the potential algorithm adjustments that could affect visibility, itโ€™s important to consider the evolving nature of user engagement on the platform.

As the landscape of social media and content-sharing continues to change, Quora’s user base may also be shifting, which can impact the amount of traffic your answers receive. I’ve noticed that some users have begun to diversify their content strategy by engaging with other platforms like Reddit, Medium, or even Stack Exchange, depending on their niche. These alternatives often offer different audience demographics and can help recapture lost visibility.

Additionally, exploring ways to improve your Quora strategy might be beneficial. Focusing on creating even more targeted answers, using compelling headlines, and engaging with users through comments can potentially boost your visibility. It might also help to track trending topics on the platform to align your content with what users are currently seeking.

Has anyone experimented with cross-promoting their Quora answers on social media or blogs? Sharing your knowledge across multiple channels can create additional traffic and engagement opportunities!
