Evaluating Your On-Page SEO: What Could Be Going Wrong?
Two months ago, I took the exciting step of submitting my newly created website to both Google and Bing Search Consoles. Initially, I was thrilled to see a surge in traffic on the very first day. However, that momentum quickly dissipated, leaving me puzzled as the visits dwindled to almost nothing.
In a bid to understand the situation better, I performed a search using the query site:[your-site-url] and was disheartened to see the number of indexed pages fall short compared to the total number of pages on my site. Given that I built this website from the ground up, I canโt help but wonder if I made fundamental mistakes in the process, or if this is simply a matter of patience, waiting for Google and Bing to acknowledge the value of my content.
Another consideration that weighs on my mind is the possibility of needing more backlinks. The whole SEO landscape can be confusing, and I find myself feeling a bit lost on the best steps to take next.
To add to my frustration, Google Search Console indicates that many of my pages are marked as โCrawled: Not Indexed.โ Unfortunately, this feedback isn’t particularly helpful.
