[Open Source] After Two Years of “Hopefully Soon” Hype, My Personal Website Is Finally Live — Showcasing 4 Procedural Generators, Terminal CLI, and More. Explore Now!

Celebrating a Milestone: My Two-Year Journey to Launch a Unique Personal Website

After numerous setbacks and repeated starts—something many developers can relate to—I am thrilled to announce that my personal website is finally live. This project has been a labor of love over the past two years, and I couldn’t be more proud of the final result.

Introducing My Interactive Development Showcase

More than just a digital portfolio, this site embodies a transparent window into my development process. It features innovative procedural generators, a custom command-line interface, and a focus on seamless user experience.

Key Features & Technologies

  • Four Procedural Background Visuals: Utilizing only the Canvas API (without external libraries), I crafted dynamic backgrounds such as hologram cubes, recursive circuit patterns, psychedelic mandalas, and quantum node networks. Optimizing performance for these intensive graphics was a considerable challenge that I continue to refine.

  • Interactive Terminal Footer: Beyond aesthetics, the footer functions as a genuine command-line interface, complete with commands, hidden easter eggs, and even a playful mini-game where a custom-coded dinosaur appears upon crashes.

  • Customized Markdown Rendering: From scratch, I built a markdown parser integrated with KaTeX for mathematical expressions and Mermaid for diagrams—creating a flexible, developer-friendly content system.

  • Prioritizing Accessibility: The site respects user preferences like prefers-reduced-motion and offers a “Low Chaos Mode” designed for sensory-sensitive visitors, ensuring a welcoming experience for all.

  • Privacy-Focused: No tracking, cookies, or unnecessary noise—respecting user privacy was a core principle.

Moving Beyond the Surface
