[Open Source Release] After Two Years of ‘Coming Soon… Possibly,’ I Finally Launched My Personal Website with 4 Procedural Generators, Terminal CLI, and More. Explore Now!

Celebrating the Launch of My Personal Portfolio: A Two-Year Journey of Innovation and Open Source

After many months of starting and pausing various projects—an experience many developers can relate to—I’m excited to announce that my personal website is finally live. This project, a culmination of two years of experimentation and dedication, represents more than just a digital resume; it’s an interactive showcase of my creative process and technical skills.

An Interactive Reflection of My Development Journey

My website serves as a dynamic platform that blends aesthetic design with functional innovation. It features four procedurally generated backgrounds, an embedded command-line interface, and a suite of other thoughtful features—all crafted to provide visitors with an immersive experience.

Highlights of the Project

Procedural Background Generators:
Using only the Canvas API, I developed four distinct visual generators: hologram cubes, recursive circuit trees, psychedelic mandalas, and quantum node networks. These rely entirely on raw scripting without third-party libraries, emphasizing performance optimization—a continuous work in progress.

Interactive Terminal Footer:
Beyond visual appeal, the footer functions as an interactive command-line interface. Users can run commands, discover hidden easter eggs, or even trigger playful animations like a custom crash screen and a mini dino game, all embedded seamlessly into the site.

Custom Markdown Rendering:
I built a renderer from scratch that integrates KaTeX for mathematical expressions and Mermaid for diagrams, among other features, ensuring a richly formatted and accessible content experience.

Accessibility-Focused Design:
Prioritizing user comfort, the site respects prefers-reduced-motion settings and offers a “Low Chaos Mode” tailored for sensory-sensitive visitors.

Privacy and Simplicity:
With no cookies, tracking, or intrusive scripts, the site provides a clean
