Exciting Progress: Core Features of Our Open Source Marketplace Dashboard Are Now Live
We are thrilled to share an update on the development of our innovative open source marketplace platform. Our goal is to create a seamless environment for artists and creators to showcase and sell their work, and the foundation of this project is taking shape.
Initially conceived as a simple store or blog for selling artwork, the project began with a focus on utilizing Astro for frontend development. However, as development progressed, it evolved into a comprehensive headless content management system combined with a dynamic marketplace solution.
This week, we’ve addressed several key bugs, resulting in a significant milestone: users can now securely log in, set up their individual storefronts, and begin customizing their content. These core functionalities pave the way for a more expansive and user-friendly platform.
Our tech stack includes Strapi as the backbone of content management, complemented by Mantine for UI components and Tailwind CSS for styling. This combination ensures a flexible, scalable, and visually appealing experience for our users and developers alike.
Stay tuned for further updates as we continue to enhance and expand this open source project. We look forward to building a vibrant community of artists, developers, and enthusiasts supporting this growing ecosystem.
