Setting Up an Open Source Marketplace: Core Dashboard Features Completed (Variation 29)

Launching a New Open Source Marketplace: Core Dashboard Features Now Live

We’re excited to share our latest progress on developing an open-source marketplace platform. Initially envisioned as a simple store or blog dedicated to showcasing and selling art, this project has evolved into a comprehensive marketplace solution.

Inspired by modern web development practices, we leveraged a headless CMS approach to ensure flexibility and scalability. This week, significant improvements have been implemented, including user authentication, site creation, and content editing functionalities—allowing users to seamlessly manage their storefronts and listings.

Our tech stack features Strapi for the backend content management, combined with Mantine and Tailwind CSS for a sleek, responsive frontend interface. These tools have been instrumental in delivering a smooth and customizable experience.

Stay tuned as we continue to enhance this open-source project, aiming to provide artists and creators with a robust, easy-to-use platform for selling their work online.
