Current Trends in Website Development: What CMS Are Companies Choosing?

Hello everyone,

As my company embarks on building a new website, we are exploring the best content management system (CMS) options available that will empower our marketing team to manage and update content easily. We’re looking for a solution that allows for straightforward content editing and the creation of new page templates without excessive technical hurdles.

Currently, we are using HubSpot CMS, which has its merits but falls short in several areas. In our discussions with various agencies, there has been a notable trend towards recommending WordPress. While I recognize its popularity, Iโ€™ve had concerns based on my past experiences with it. Specifically, I’ve found that maintaining WordPress can be challenging due to frequent plugin updates and compatibility issues, which can lead to more headaches than benefits.

Given these considerations, Iโ€™m keen to hear from the community: What are the prevalent standards in website development today? Are whether other CMS platforms like Webflow or other alternatives gaining traction?

Your insights will greatly assist in shaping our approach moving forward.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
