Will this screw up my site SEO?

Can Organizing Your WordPress Pages Impact Your SEO?

As business owners, we often focus on the aesthetics and functionality of our websites, but SEO plays a crucial role in our online visibility. My own WordPress site has grown successfully, and we currently enjoy strong search engine rankings. However, despite this success, Iโ€™m mindful of the SEO mistakes Iโ€™ve made in the past, and I want to ensure that any changes I make wonโ€™t hinder our progress.

One critical area where I lacked knowledge when setting up my site was in the organization of pages. Initially, I didnโ€™t implement a parent-child page hierarchy, resulting in a website that lacks a clear structure. My custom design team created a unique layout, which diverges from the traditional menu-submenu approach. Now, as I consider reorganizing our content into a more defined hierarchy, I find myself questioning whether this adjustment could negatively affect our SEO rankings.

Iโ€™m eager to hear insight from those with expertise in Search Engine Optimization. Can restructuring my pages into a parent-child format lead to any unintended consequences for our current rankings? I genuinely want to proceed with caution, balancing our contentโ€™s organization with our ongoing visibility in search results. Your guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance for your help!
