scam Alert: Digital CEO / BAM University (Joshua T. Osbourne)
I want to warn others about what I believe is a scam masquerading as a mentorship program. I was charged $10,000, while others were charged just $5,000 for the same materials. When I voiced my concerns, I was met with gaslighting, dismissal, and silence.
The initial Zoom sales presentation misrepresented the program, making false claims about support and quick earnings. What I found instead were disorganized modules filled with unprofessional language, references to vaping and alcohol, constant cursing, and a blatant mockery of the learning process. Thereโs no accountability or structured coachingโyou’re just thrown in and left to figure it out on your own.
Even more alarming, they push students to take on clients before completing the course or being taught how to protect themselves legally. Thereโs no guidance on necessary licensing, permits, or contracts, which exposes students to significant legal and financial risks.
The so-called “digital helpers” often gaslight students, dismissing legitimate concerns with phrases like โyouโre overthinking it,โ rather than providing real assistance. The environment is toxic and manipulative.
When I raised my concerns again, I was threatened with legal action. When I called the number they provided, it had no voicemail greeting and lacked any verification that it belonged to a real attorney. It seemed like a complete bluff.
I have filed formal complaints with the FTC and the Attorneys General of California and Colorado. This organization operates unethically and poses a risk, as they inundate review platforms with affiliate testimonials to obscure the truth.
Please, avoid this program at all costs.

I’m really sorry to hear about your experience. It sounds incredibly frustrating and disheartening to invest that much money and not receive the support or education you were promised. Your concerns about the program’s structure, accountability, and the pressure to take on clients without proper training are very serious. Itโs important that potential students are aware of these issues before committing to such an expensive program. Thank you for sharing your story and taking action by filing complaints. Hopefully, your warning will help others avoid a similar situation. Stay strong!
Thank you for sharing your experience and highlighting the red flags associated with the Digital CEO/BAM University program. Itโs crucial for individuals to be aware of the potential pitfalls in online mentorship schemes, especially when substantial financial investments like $10,000 are involved.
Your account raises important questions about regulatory oversight in the mentorship and coaching industry. Many people are drawn to the allure of rapid success presented in promotional materials, but like you, they often find themselves in poorly structured programs that prioritize profit over genuine education and support. Itโs concerning to hear that participants are not only left in the dark but are also pressured into taking business risks without proper legal preparation.
For anyone considering similar programs, I encourage due diligenceโresearching the companyโs background, seeking out unbiased reviews, and verifying the credentials of the facilitators. Additionally, connecting with past participants through social media or forums can provide deeper insights into their experiences.
Your decision to file complaints with the FTC and state attorneys general is commendable and sets a precedent for holding such organizations accountable. It might also be beneficial for others who have had similar experiences to come forward, as collective feedback can amplify the message and potentially lead to regulatory action.
Thank you for your courage in sharing this important warning, and I hope your efforts lead to positive changes in the industry.
