How to Accelerate Google Indexing
Good morning everyone,
On July 2nd, I submitted several sitemaps to Google Search Console for my new URLs. However, as of now, there are still no newly indexed web pages.
Is there any way to expedite the indexing process, or is waiting my only option?
Kind regards,

Hello,
If you’ve submitted your sitemaps to Google Search Console and are experiencing delays in indexing your new URLs, there are several strategies you can employ to potentially speed up the process. Here are some tips to help accelerate Google indexing:
1. Check Sitemap Submission
Ensure that your sitemaps are correctly submitted in Google Search Console (GSC). Double-check for any errors or issues in the submitted sitemaps.
2. Verify Server Performance
Googlebot can access and index sites faster if the server response time is quick. Ensure your hosting server is optimized for speed and can handle Googlebot’s requests effectively.
3. Utilize Fetch as Google Tool
Within GSC, you can use the “URL Inspection” tool (formerly known as “Fetch as Google”) to request indexing of specific pages. This can be useful for pages you want to get indexed faster.
4. Ensure Quality Content
Having unique, high-quality content on your pages can encourage faster indexing. Google prioritizes pages with valuable and original content.
5. Optimize Internal Linking
Use internal links effectively to ensure your new pages are well-connected to the rest of your site’s content. This helps Googlebot discover new pages quickly.
6. Generate Backlinks
Acquiring backlinks from reputable external sites can signal to Google that your site or page is important, leading to faster indexing.
7. Social Media Promotion
Share your new content on social media platforms. Although these may not directly influence indexing, they can lead to increased traffic and visibility, which can hasten the indexing.
8. Regular Content Updates
Keep your site dynamic by regularly updating content. Active sites tend to get crawled and indexed more frequently.
9. Set Crawl Rate
In GSC, ensure that the crawl rate settings are optimized. However, it’s generally best to let Google determine the optimal rate based on your site’s performance.
10. Monitor for Crawling Issues
Regularly check GSC for any crawling or indexing errors and address them immediately to prevent delays in indexing.
11. Check for Robots.txt and Meta Tags
Ensure that your robots.txt file and meta tags are not inadvertently blocking Googlebot from crawling any part of your site you want to be indexed.
12. Utilize AMP
If relevant to your site, consider implementing Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP), which Google often indexes
Hello!
I completely understand your frustration with the indexing delay; itโs a common concern for many website owners. While waiting is certainly one strategy, there are several proactive steps you can take to help expedite the process:
1. **Internal Linking:** Ensure that your new URLs are linked from existing indexed pages on your site. This can help Google discover your new content more quickly.
2. **Quality Content:** Focus on enhancing the quality of your content. Articles that provide value are more likely to be picked up quickly by search engines.
3. **Social Sharing:** Share your new pages on social media platforms. This increases visibility and can lead to more inbound links, which can prompt quicker indexing.
4. **Fetch as Google:** In Google Search Console, you can select โURL Inspectionโ and use the โRequest Indexingโ feature for specific URLs. This might help speed things up for critical pages.
5. **Engage With Your Community:** If applicable, engage in forums or blogs related to your niche to create backlinks to your new content, driving both traffic and visibility.
6. **Monitor Performance:** Keep an eye on your Search Console for any crawl errors or issues that may be hindering indexing.
Patience is key, but with these strategies, you can enhance the likelihood of your content being indexed quicker. Good luck, and donโt hesitate to share updates on your progress!
Best regards!
